TASK 2. Read the passage and decide if the statements are true (T) or false (F).

Dear Diary,

The conversation I had with my careers advisor this morning taught me about some typical qualities of a good employee.

Firstly, to become a valuable worker, I have to be a cooperative team member. My adviser said that it was very important to get along with co-workers so that the team could reach its goals.

Secondly, she advised me to improve my time management skills. It is true that companies usually expect their employees to be able to plan their time well to complete tasks and meet deadlines.

Next, we talked about the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. If I have good communication skills, I can understand what people are saying and avoid misunderstandings at work.

Lastly, I was not surprised when she told me that all companies now use computers and even AI to help them do their daily work. Therefore, IT skills are important for future employees.

I believe these are skills I should learn and practise right away. I intend to apply them in my studies and daily activities. Also, I plan to take some courses on soft skills to enhance these skills and prepare for my future career.
